Motivation To Diet Naturally – Some Insights

If you can reduce the stress in your life, and take more rest, you could just reduce your weight at the same time. Lots of us are vulnerable to stress. We take on far too many things and end up ‘chasing our tail’ every day. Tension increases as one thing after another piles up. And that’s when we develop an overwhelming desire for food.

But it could be there’s a connection between food that’s laden with calories and feeling stressed. Stress-related weight gain does exist. The process is thought to be something like this – Cortisol, a stress hormone is exuded by the body at particularly stressful times.

This stimulates insulin release, as an attempt to stabilise our blood-sugar. We then feel hungrier than usual, and get a particular desire for fat and carbohydrate laden food. Assuming we gratify this hunger, we’re then rewarded with the much desired energy lift.

A moment or so later the stress is appeased and we feel happy again. But very soon afterwards, our energy boost plummets! To explain – the glucose now in our bloodstream is captured by the insulin and transferred to the fat deposits around our body.

Thus if weight loss is your objective, first try to create a more harmonious lifestyle! Weight loss might also be related to getting enough sleep. We currently spend on average less than seven hours a night asleep. It used to be a good hour more than that.

Respectively, the level of obesity in our society has risen. There could be a hormonal link to the two factors. If we’re not sleeping for long enough, we develop an appetite for more food. This is because our body thinks it must be daytime when we’re awake, so it’s time to eat.

Evidently our longing for food rises as we become more tired, and again we veer towards carbohydrates and fatty food. Taking back that extra hour for night-time recuperation may well lead to eating fewer calories.

And so to our conclusion. If we aim to reduce the tension in our lives, we might just find it easier to reduce our weight as well. We might try delegating more family and work responsibilities and say no to people’s requests sometimes. And then at the close of the day, instead of grabbing another bite to eat, simply play some relaxing music and snuggle up in bed…

Fresh Insights – How Can I Lose Thirty Pounds Naturally

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Scott Edwards on 25-09-2009

Trying To Lose Weight Can Be Frightening! And huge business empires have grown out of this. The turnover of the weight loss industry is colossal – it amounts to billions of dollars – and so there are plenty of opportunities to profit from our ambitions to be slim.

Just How Much of a Problem Is There Then? Whether you personally are obese or not, the chances are you’d be happy to lose some weight. It’s now believed that in the USA alone, around seventy percent of people are too heavy. Which amounts to some two hundred and ten million folks… But overseas it’s not much better – a startling sixty percent! It’s a sorry state of affairs.

It’s thought that in Britain alone, around one quarter of over 18’s are obese, which equates to a minimum of thirty to forty pounds overweight. Future predictions look even worse… The current figure of 25 percent could reach 90 percent by 2050.

And yet why should it be that way? No-one wants this trend to continue. Sensible dietary advice is the key – not expensive products that line the pockets of big business.

Obesity can increase the risk of a number of diseases and ailments, such as – High Blood Pressure, Liver Disease, High Cholesterol, Osteoarthritis, Sleep Apnoea, Heart Disease and Heart Failure, Cancer, Type Two Diabetes & Problems with Mental Health. And so we’re not just out to look cuter – we’re out to preserve our health.

Reducing your weight and getting into good physical shape is more important than being thin. In truth, we most likely have a gut feel for the weight that works best for our body.

Those of us with kids should be thinking about their health as well. Parents need to lead by example, and guide their kids towards healthy choices. Nothing will change if we keep doing the same thing. Do you really want that burden for your offspring?

So we have to understand the basics about nutrition – it’s just as important to know what’s good for us as it is to know what’s bad. It’s only when we’ve got a handle on healthy eating ourselves that we can teach it to others. Let’s be honest, our children’s children could escape obesity if we put the right habits into the family today.

What Would the Top Slot on Google be Worth to You?

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Owen Jones on 24-09-2009

I was just wondering whether you realized how much article submission software has improved over the last few years? For example, this article was written and submitted to thousands of directories on auto-pilot over a period of a month by the world’s most advanced article management software.

Please don’t miss out on this, it is that important if you need to promote any site on the Internet.

Frankly, there is simply no other traffic generation system that works better, costs less, and is completely immune to search engine changes.

Remember, this is not some fancy new black-hat technique. It is completely legitimate, completely solid, and completely reliable. This system will take your article, create thousands of variations and then post them to thousands of sites. All with your sites link in the by-line. But not only that! It only posts your article to sites that want sites like yours (based on your chosen keywords) and posts according to a schedule chosen by you: ie 10, 20, 50, 100, 1,000 posts a day, starting on any future date you choose! So you could write say, three articles and have the first one go out starting the next day at 300 a day; the second one starting after seven days at 100 sites a day; and the third starting after two weeks at a rate of 50 sites a day.

What IS really new is that this already well- established technique has now been put on steroids. It combines, for the first time ever, the power of article submissions with the benefits of unique content. And it does it in a way that is simplicity itself to use.

It is worthwhile devoting some time investigating this software, if you are seriously trying to promote something on the Internet. It will make your life much easier by automating a great deal of the problems associated with article submission.

It is important to realize that an organic link on the first page of Google provides about six times the traffic of a sponsored (Adsense) link on the same page. Just how much would you from that each month? Now multiply that by, say, a hundred or a thousand and you can begin to appreciate the value of this method!

The Low-down on Getting the #1 Google Position

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Owen Jones on 21-09-2009

If you haven’t already put your article submission on autopilot, it can only be for one of three reasons:

1. You don’t want or need any additional free visitors to your website, because you cannot handle them,

2. You missed my previous articles, or

3. You still haven’t realized how powerful and incredibly valuable this system is. that is, how much this will dramatically increase your sales

If you fall into category 1, then please move on from this article, it doesn’t apply to you.

Otherwise, please take a minute to read this article thoroughly, as it really could mean the difference between success and failure for your Internet business this year. You see, people love to make things complicated, but making money online is actually quite simple. It does not matter whether you are selling your own product, promoting affiliate links, or making money from Adsense or “click flipping”, it all boils down to just two things:

Conversion and Traffic.

Conversion comes first. You need to have an offer that people want. That “offer” might be a product, or it might be an enticing advert (e.g. Google Adsense) that people want to click on. And you need some kind of presentation (such as a sales letter) that encourages them to take the action that you want them to take (eg buy the product or click on the advert).

In many ways this is the easier part. Most people can put together a half decent website or sales letter that will turn at least some visitors into money.

But then you need Traffic. Loads of it. The more people that come by your site, the more money you will make – especially if that traffic is highly targeted. But, given the number of websites out there – all competing for the same traffic, just how do you get more visitors to your site?

Well, there are just three ways that traffic comes to your site:

1. Visitors type your URL straight into their browser. That results from some sort of off-line promotion: it might be your business card, a radio advert, an article in a magazine or a conversation with a friend.

2. People click on a link. It may be in an email they received (eg from a friend or from an ezine they subscribed to) or it may be on another website they have visited.

3. Or they search in a search engine like Google, see your website in the listings, and then click on the hyperlink to go to your website.

And that is it. There is no other way for them to get to your website.

So, if we know that, how do we get more traffic? Easy:

1. Advertise your Internet presence in all your offline promotional materials.

2. Get lots of people to put links to you on their website, and lots of people to send out emails with your links in them.

3. Get a top position in the search engines.

Yes.., sounds simple doesn’t it, but maybe it is not so easy in practice? Just how do you achieve steps 2 and 3 without spending bucketsful of cash or getting your site banned by the search engines?

To understand this, we need to think about how the search engines work. Again, it is much simpler than people say.

All search engines want lots of people to search them. In order to achieve that, they try to deliver relevant and up-to-date content to the people who make a search on them. But how do they work out what is relevant to the search?

There are only two ways they can do that:

1. They scan your website and, using very sophisticated algorithms, they work out what the subject matter of your website is. The also look at how new or old it is, how recently it has been updated and so on. These are all known as on-page or on-site factors. You have direct control over many of these factors when you set up your site.

2. They look at what other people say about your site. In doing this they look at two things: how many people link to your site (and what the link says) and also how important is the site that links to your site. An important “authority” site that points to you is worth more than a whole bunch of unimportant sites. They also consider how recent the links that point to you are, and a number of other factors about the link and the context in which it is found.

In conjunction with this, the search engines are always looking out for websites that attempting to fool them into thinking that they are more important, more relevant or more popular than they actually are. Which is why the so-called ‘black-hat’ techniques quickly lose their effectiveness.

Therefore, to get to the top of the search engine lists you need to do two things:

1. Optimize your on-page factors. There is plenty of information online about how to do that. It is not difficult. But, in itself, it is also not enough.

2. Get lots of high quality, one-way, relevant links to your website from as many other websites as possible.

How do you get people to link to you?

1. Produce a fantastic site so that others just really want to tell others about your site.

2. Pay others to link to you – buy a text link, or offer an affiliate program.

3. Swap links with other websites – but reciprocal links are clearly not worth as much as one-way back-links and it is a lot of work to do this effectively anyway.

4. Provide them with fresh, unique content that adds value to their site in return for which they must agree to post a link back to you. Thousands of sites are constantly looking for fresh, unique content. They get this content by searching through article directories, or by subscribing to article submission services.

Therefore, if you distribute articles to these directories, your articles will end up on both the directories themselves AND on the niche sites that pick up and use these articles. AND some of these sites are likely to be valuable “authority”-type sites. Of course, whether the article is used and by whom, depends on the quality of your article.

As you can see, this last method is the simplest and most powerful. It gives you hundreds or thousands of one way links, from niche, relevant sites, all for free. All you need is some way to get a different, unique, article to each of those directories and ezine publishers. Which is, of course, what our software does.

But wait a minute! It doesn’t stop there. The real power behind this method comes when you use it regularly. Preferably at least once a week. Imagine getting 200 to 1800 new permanent one way links every week! By the end of a year, you could easily have 50,000 or more relevant, quality, one-way links to your site! And you can connect the submission process to a timer to put everything on autopilot!

That is the real power of this system’s software and that is why it beats every other traffic generation and SEO system out there.

So, unless you don’t have an online presence at all, isn’t it time you harnessed this power for your own business? Click on our link below now to get the early-bird discount and get a fantastic bunch of bonuses:

Quick Natural Slimming – Clarified

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Scott Edwards on 20-09-2009

Our friendships can have quite an influence on how we live our lives. There’s a tangible link between the way we behave and the men and women we have friendships with. And yet we’re likely to have presumed this commonality concerned our likes and dislikes – for example we enjoy the same musical tastes as our friends, or hold similar political views.

Lately though, studies are claiming that we will have more tendency to be overweight if we hang around with others who are overweight. According to a recent news article, we have a tendency to consume more when eating with heavier people who we know well. A US research team looked at kids eating habits. They found that the heavier ones ate more when they were with their heavier pals than when they were with their slimmer friends.

Everyone in the group actually devoured more when they were in the company of friends, regardless of their size. But pairing up overweight friends led to the biggest consumption of all. The study was undertaken by researchers from the State University of New York at Buffalo. It highlighted the role friends play in influencing how much youngsters eat.

Certainly, it’s human nature to feel more secure in our actions when we’re amongst friends. We’re not so self-aware with people we like and know well. But there’s possibly more to it than that – we intuitively view friends as permission givers. We grant them the right to define acceptability – in this case in relation to food quantities.

Young people of all sizes were studied for forty five minutes. A number were teamed up with strangers, and a number with friends. Each pair had a mix of healthy and snack-type food, and entertainment.

The familiar couples put away more food than the unfamiliar ones. But overweight friends ate the most of all. Below is an illustration of what was consumed.

Nearly seven hundred and fifty calories per person was consumed by the larger pairs of friends. Heavy kids with standard weight chums ate just under 450 cals, and standard weight kids ate approx 500 cals whatever weight their mate was. This influence extends to smoking and drinking as well with young teens.

This led the researchers to suggest that young people’s eating habits are largely determined by their social network. Yet this power of association can be beneficial, as positive influences are just as possible as negative ones. Healthy nutrition then should be part of every child’s curriculum.

About Internet Business

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Owen Jones on 14-09-2009

Recent market surveys show that the growth rate of Internet purchases has been extremely high during the last few years, and despite the conditions of the real world financial crisis that made the online orders register a corresponding decrease, things still seem pretty rosy for the Internet. However, from this perspective, people who promote a service or product as part of an Internet business have lots of things to do before they can see the money rolling in.

E-commerce is still a profitable Internet business, but heavy promotional support is usually necessary to beat competition and generate profit. Behind the comprehensive online web catalogues that sell us all sorts of things, there lies a huge amount of work to support not only the web page as such, but to run constant market analysis and have a realistic picture of where the business stands on the e-market. A relevant example here would be that of the first-page search results on engines like Google and Yahoo.

The Internet business with the highest likelihood to complete a transaction is the one that appears first when a searcher types a keyword in the search box of the search engine. Consequently, the big competition between the various companies active online is to have a good page rank and a proper representation in the search engines.

This can only be achieved by the professional support of the web site and constant monitoring of the site performance, according to the number of site visitors and the resulting transactions.

So, just like for real-life money-making opportunities, an Internet business requires thoughtful planning. Therefore, one targets the niche market, gathers information on the competition, ensures good resources, attracts finances and funds, if necessary and takes the measures that build customers’ loyalty. Furthermore, depending on the sort of product or service offered, the Internet business could require a strategic alliance with other partners.

Therefore, for every Internet business idea you get, you have to find out whether there is a market to address. Then, if you lack the budget to invest, you have to seek other financing opportunities to support you entrepreneurial aspirations. And last but not least, you should never neglect web site investment.

The design and constant support that keeps your Internet business running could easily cost you a small monthly fortune. However, your website is your interface, the place where the customer comes into contact with your product or service, and the impression has to be the best. Good luck!

Updated – Extreme Slimming

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Scott Edwards on 13-09-2009

Nutritionalists work on a person’s Body Mass Index when analysing weight questions. Our weight is thought to be right for our height if our reading is under twenty five and over eighteen. If it goes over 25, we have a weight problem. Above 30, and we join the category of obesity, moving into morbid obesity above 40.

To work out your own index – Use a metric rule to measure your height. Then record your weight in kilograms. Your height should be multiplied by itself, then divide that figure by your weight.

To illustrate: you are 1.65m in height, so take 1.65 x 1.65 and you get 2.72. You weigh 82 kilos, so it’s 82 / 2.72 which is 30.15. The above illustration plainly shows that with those stats you would be designated obese.

We can’t lose weight if we continue to consume foods highly saturated in fats and sugars (save for the odd treat now and again!). The fat that’s already stored in our bodies will only be used up if we put less fuel (food) into our system. By eating healthy food we will make that system more efficient.

Diets that make claims to crash your weight are not recommended – they’re unhealthy and unsustainable. So stay away from programs that restrict males to 1,400 daily calories and females to 1,000. Radical weight reduction can result, but it’s usually very short-lived!

Healthy dieting that will make you fitter for life can take months. Losing up to two pounds a week can be achieved if you simply cut out five hundred calories or so a day. Clearly this isn’t going to make an impact this month, but you will be healthier by this time next year.

Fat-laden food tends to contain the highest calories. So the easiest way to drop the calories is by cutting out fatty food. Instead, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, and increase the amount of whole grains in your diet. You’ll soon start to notice the health benefits associated with this change.

Avoid skipping meals – this really doesn’t help with calorie reduction. By the afternoon, you’ll be so hungry you might be tempted by chocolate or crisps. A number of lighter meals throughout the day is better in reality. Leaving yourself constantly hungry makes weight loss less likely. But eating frequent nutritious small amounts is the best way to fuel an efficient weight loss process.

Losing Weight – Losing 20 Pounds Fast – Uncovered

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Scott Edwards on 10-09-2009

We all know people who appear to sail through life, happily moving from one success to the next. And yet there are others who fail at just about anything they have a go at – but can always tell you why it wasn’t their fault. Our civilisation is made up of victors and victims. The difference between the two can very often be reduced to one key thing, and that’s attitude.

It’s essential when working on a weight loss program to adopt the habits of the victor to accomplish the right outcome. Feebly attempting a weight-loss plan without taking responsibility for the outcome will put you in the ‘victim’ camp. And yet for a victor it’s all in the bag from the beginning.

Let’s envision we’re on court for a tennis finale. We listen to the players before the start – One player says the outcome is now in the lap of the gods, whereas his opponent states “I am destined to be the champion!” Who’s most likely to succeed?

The victor is characterised by the word oar- a figure paddling on to victory. (OAR stands for Ownership, Accountability and Responsibility). On the other hand the victim is characterised by ‘BED’ – he/she stays in bed and is defeated. (BED stands for Blame, Excuses and Denial).

Not relying on others, but taking ownership of the job is a strong characteristic of a victor. He takes account of his actions by taking them seriously. He sees things through by tackling problems instead of creating them. He doesn’t take excuses from himself and is responsible for the outcome of his activities.

The victim can always come up with a reason for not accomplishing something, and it’s hardly ever to do with him. Mistakes or short-comings are always transferred on to a third party. Justifications are always made for why he couldn’t perform well – but inevitably he’s the only one who’s convinced! The pattern of blaming others and making excuses leads to an existence of absolute denial. The victim is then sure beyond doubt that he can do nothing about his lot.

People approaching a life-changing diet and exercise program need to give themselves a mental work-out, to stack the odds in their favour. To really embrace the health-enhancing program, any traces of the victim syndrome have to be wiped out.

Attitudes (both good and bad) are simply habits, and with constant repetition they can be altered. When you’re alone with your thoughts, are you thinking like a victim? If the answer is yes, then take control right away. Don’t think others are better than you – it’s just that some people have fought their demons and come out on top.

“There is no such thing as a hero,” as Churchill said, “only those who rise to the occasion.” We need to have a winning outlook on life in order to become a winner in the weight-loss arena.

Dieting – Losing 10 Pounds Fast – Some Views

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Scott Edwards on 07-09-2009

When thinking about the changes we’d like to make in our lives, we usually have a picture of what that change looks like. Perhaps we think of having a really good relationship, with more expensive holidays and a luxury home. We might see ourselves looking quite different to how we look now – more toned, slimmer, better dressed.

Honing in on the new things we want to have is a good starting base when thinking of which goals we want to reach. If we don’t have an idea of how things will be when we’ve made it, the chances are we’ll never get there.

But before we can have all these great things, we have to be prepared to make some changes. As Albert Einstein said, “Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.” Or put another way, we’ll carry on having what we’ve always had if we carry on doing what we’ve always done.

Significant achievements only come about when we alter both what we do and the way we think. It’s not rocket science to know that there’s going to be a tad of work to do to achieve the things we want to have. It’s a basic law of life that we have to give in order to receive. Yet simply doing the work won’t automatically give us the lifestyle we’re after.

People who achieve much in life internalise winning attitudes along the way. They adopt the right behaviour and thought processes. So the individual who’s goal is to lose 30 pounds in the next 12 months has to become conscientious about nutrition and prioritise a certain amount of time to exercise each week.

Hanging out with friends comes after the work-out’s been completed. Success dictates that reward will follow effort. Results come all the sooner when slimming and good health are pursued with enthusiasm.

Winning isn’t a matter of chance. Maintaining a solid approach is an essential foundation to guard against the doubts and criticisms we may have to endure.

Reading accounts of how achievers survived their journeys to success can help. Almost all the stories tell the same tale. The winner visualised being a winner from the beginning and internalised the process. So the formula is apparent – to have what we want, and relish the tasks we need to do, we must first embrace who we have to be.

Considered – How Should I Lose Thirty Pounds Quickly

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by Scott Edwards on 04-09-2009

The Business Of Losing Weight Can Be Scary! You must realise that ‘losing weight’ isn’t just our problem – a whole industry has been built on it. The turnover of the weight loss industry is colossal – it amounts to billions of dollars – and so there are plenty of opportunities to profit from our ambitions to be slim.

Just How Much of a Problem Is There Then? Maybe you’re not classed as obese, but you’re probably somewhat overweight if you’re reading this. Amazingly, over two-thirds of the US populace are classed as needing weight loss. Put another way, that’s 210 millions!

Other countries are catching up fast too… Yet we don’t wish to win this race…

Take the United Kingdom – nearly a quarter of all adults are considered obese. But look at this – By 2050 the obesity level could be ninety per cent!

And yet why should it be that way? We must do something about it! Sensible dietary advice is the key – not expensive products that line the pockets of big business.

It is commonly understood in medical circles that weight problems lead to other difficulties, including… Cancer – Heart Disease – Heart Failure – Type Two Diabetes – High Blood Pressure – Liver Disease – High Cholesterol – Osteoarthritis.

For these reasons it’s vital that we lose the weight. Aim for a healthy weight that feels right for you. In truth, we most likely have a gut feel for the weight that works best for our body.

Those of us with kids should be thinking about their health as well. Parents need to lead by example, and guide their kids towards healthy choices. If we don’t change our habits, we’re destined to suffer. And so will the next generation. We can surely adopt better parenting skills than that?
