Alcoholic Ginger Beer tastes great naturally, but you can make a genuinely wholesome and flavoursome tropical drink using a mix of Alcoholic Ginger Beer and fresh fruits. You get the double whammy of taking in ginger that helps cleanse you blood and give protection to you from the common cold and a ration of fresh fruit to help with enjoying a good balanced diet.
The most unusual ginger beer and fruit cocktail is the Summer Fling. Blend a quarter of a water melon together with a peeled kiwi and a few strawberries. Add a dash of agave syrup and lime juice and pour over ice, top up with Ginger Beer and serve.

The Hairy Fairy is made using 10 mint leaves, a lime or lemon cut into eights, some Angostura Bitters and Alcoholic Ginger Beer. Muddle the mint leaves and lime or lemon then put them in a deep glass and top with crushed ice, add the Alcoholic Ginger Beer and drop in 3 drops of Angostura Bitters. Top up with more crushed ice if needed.
Use a light Alcoholic Ginger Beer to keep the alcohol content low, it is much healthier. Or you could just cut the amount of Alcoholic Ginger Beer you add in half and double the amount of fresh fruit that you put into your tropical drink.
